Are you interested in making money online but don't really know where to start? Well, you are not alone, hundreds of thousands of people get online every day to find out how to make money online.
There are literally 300 million search results on Goggle for the term "make money online". So, where do you start? I'll tell you, you can start by learning the difference between scams and legitimate online business opportunities.
I'm sure you have heard of the terms "MLM" and "Network Marketing". If you have heard of these terms then you probably familiar with the controversy surrounding them. Many people will tell you that they are all pyramid schemes and others will swear that they are all legal. So who is right? No one is right or wrong because each case is different.
According to the federal government, a business which solely relies on the "money making" opportunity as the product and has no physical and/or information product is by definition, a pyramid scheme. On the other hand Multi Level Marketing, Network Marketing and Affiliate Program companies which actually have products are in fact legal. Although both business models do have pyramid shaped sales structures, this does NOT make them illegal, its simply the lack of a viable product which makes them illegal.
Multi level marketing is a way of getting products sold quickly and on a large scale, while saving on advertising cost. Many companies are now choosing this business model because it is a very efficient. Instead of spending an absorbent amount money that is generally required to advertise to the public using traditional methods, the companies allow people to be their advertisers and give them a percentage of the sale.
Taking advantage of the MLM business model is in my opinion, the best way to make money online. MLM and Network Marketing companies are not the only companies with which you can earn an income online. They are however my bread and butter and I must recommend them to anyone who is tired of trading their time for money, like traditional offline business models.
Other opportunities to make money online include; taking online surveys, stuffing envelopes, selling products on Ebay or on websites and selling advertisements on high traffic websites.
For you traditionalist out there, stuffing envelopes and taking surveys are more like the traditional offline methods of making money. You are basically paid in exchange for your time, just like a typical job.
Selling products on Ebay or from and online store can be a very profitable business. Unfortunately this sometimes requires your to have a stock of products. There are plenty of drop-ship companies which will take care of stocking and shipping the products to your customers.
Unlike MLM businesses these other types of businesses are very difficult to automate, which forces you to work constantly to keep the profits up. The key to online success is in automation. This automation is precisely the thing that allows you to gradually pull away from your business and still make money from it.
If your like me and want to retire early then some form of network marketing combined with direct sales is definitely the way to go. I highly recomend the PIPS program as it combines all of the above into one simple to use easily duplicatable system.
